Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institutions of Knowledge and Service is one among twenty nine institutions spread over Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab and owe their existence to the munificent and philanthropic spirit of Seth Mukand Lal, a close adherent of Gandhi Ji. He came under the Gandhian influence in earlier twenties. Gandhi ji had fondly nick-named him “Pagla Bhagat”. Seth Mukand Lal reportedly bore the entire expenditure incurred in the holding of All India Congress Sessions on the banks of river Ravi, Lahore in 1929 where resolution for complete independence of India was adopted. It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my graduation from JMIT. I have spent best 4 years of my life in JMIT. JMIT has wonderful faculty and campus. Relationship between faculty and students are like friends. Faculty is very caring and interested in student well being. JMIT also helped me a lot in becoming a better person.
I have always felt that I was so lucky to be a student at JMIT. It has helped me develop a positive attitude towards my studies and discover more about myself. The thing I admire the most about JMIT is the support I received from faculty, lab staff and fellow classmates. I wouldn't have been able to achieve what I have achieved without that friendly environment.
I am Sunil Kuhar (Batch 2012-16 Mechanical Engineering) of this premise. I got selected in Indian Engineering Service (IES 2017) with All India Rank 33. I want to say thanks to you and whole JMIT family to make me able to achieve this.
When I first entered into college I knew, the next four years are going to be formative years of my career, and it is with a sense of pride that I associate myself with JMIT. The college campus has been filled with panoply of educated voices, ever ready to share what they have learned in all these years. It is this motivation and good education that helped me secure admission
JMIT provides good education as well as good placement opportunities to its students. Faculty is fully dedicated for providing excellent theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the students. Facilities like lab equipment, library, sports facility, etc. are excellent. The only private college in Haryana as well as in India which does not charge even a single rupee extra from students and the only private college in India in which a number of students from poor families are getting education with the support of college management and the faculty members.
Before I went to JMIT, I had no idea what coding was. Faculty was great, supportive and focused on practical skills. A particular shout out to Mr. Rohit Bhullar who encouraged me to do side coding projects. JMIT organized robotics workshops that triggered my curiosity in the field. I was encouraged to participate in robotics competitions across various engineering colleges in India including IITs. All this experience helped me do my own robotics startup and also got me into IIT for masters program. JMIT is a great place to develop your skills and be successful in your career.
I am working as Managing Director at TSM TheSafetyMaster Pvt Limited, Gurgaon, safety management Consulting company and profoundly would like to share that “Genesis” is an important word and I must say “JMIT” is one place where it all started for me. Graduation in chemical engineering was just a certificate but journey that made us capable of going that one extra mile can’t be summarized in few words, Apart from lecture rooms, labs or anything we could ask for, our mentors and JMIT vision to enable its student with industry level capabilities made the difference. It’s been 15 years since I am working for an industry where knowledge and discipline towards profession is an essence. I extend my heartfelt thanks to my alma-mater and mentors for their selfless efforts & also JMIT Alumni Network from bringing all the Jmitians on one platform.
MBA programme from JMIT College has enabled me to be a distinguished professional with respect to the knowledge and flexible attitude I carried towards the ever changing dynamics of the HR profile in the industry.
The faculty had not only ensured that we get the renowned jobs in the Industry but they also ensured to reflect such personalities among the students that I have been able to achieve and be the professional that I am today.
The environment and campus of the college has bestowed us with many beautiful friendships and memories which I am sure will never die or fade.
I am very grateful to all my professors especially Ms. Anuja Mam and my friend then and a professor now, Mr. Rahul Sharma to even give many opportunities now also to come & share the knowledge that I have gathered with a decade experience with the current students.

Spending four years in the Mechanical Engineering Department of JMIT, Radaur was a life changing experience for me. The faculties have helped me throughout to get well acquainted with the technicalities of my field. So, my decision of taking admission here proved to be the best for me. Spending four years of my course with excellent faculties at JMIT not only helped me to become an efficient mechanical engineer but also gained me an invaluable lifelong learning.

‘You’re a only girl in class’, ‘How you’ll do it’. These sentences never scared me nor did they stop me from achieving my dream of landing in a core mechanical company and all thanks goes to JMIT for enhancing my skills and personality too and giving me the exposure I needed in order to face the industry. JMIT is the perfect place for overall development where you’re prepared in every way to crack any exam or interview. I feel fortunate to be the part of JMIT and I’ll always thanks my mentors for helping me in every situation.
