Overview

 The master of computer application programme was started in 2001 with an intake of 60 students. The department is housed in a newly built building having modern amenities. The department has 4 air conditioned computer laboratories each with a capacity of 22  computers, these laboratories have systems having high end configurations:

C Programming Lab is equipped with C compiler software on computer systems.

OOPS Programming Lab is equipped with C++ compiler and Java software on computer systems.

Visual Programming Lab is equipped with Visual Basic. Visual C++ & Oracle software on computer systems. 

Web Technology Lab is equipped with the software related to HTML and XML. HTML & CML is available on the computer systems. 

Computer Graphics Lab is equipped with C & C++  Compiler on system to implement various CG algorithms.  

Software Detail: Window XP, Pascal, Turbo C++ , Borland C++ , Cobol- 85 , FORTRAN, Visual Studio 6.0, Oracle 9, Adobe Page maker 7.0, Adobe Photoshop , Adobe Acrobat Write 5.0, Paint Shop Pro, Delphi and Visual Inter Dev.

Other Peripheral Devices: Printer HP LaserJet 1020, Printer LX300 Epson, Printer Canon Laserjet 2900B, Printer HP-2668, Scanner portable project, Projector CD Drives /CD Writer (Internal& External)..

Internet Facility: Internet facility of 24 hours available in the computer labs for faculties as well as for the students through a leased line having bandwidth 7 Mbps .As well as Wireless connection on a very fast network are also available.
